The Neuromuscular Calibration Story

Dr. David Rubenstein’s journey to revolutionizing pain relief and trauma recovery began humbly as a fitness trainer. Early in his career, he developed a unique technique to help his clients overcome chronic pain. The results were extraordinary—clients not only reported relief from physical pain but also experienced unexpected “happy side effects” such as the disappearance of depression, anxiety, and even addiction. Intrigued by these outcomes, Dr. Rubenstein embarked on an academic quest, studying kinesiology before earning a Master’s degree and eventually a doctorate in Medical Science.

Dr. Rubenstein’s method, now known as Neuromuscular Calibration, is a comprehensive system that includes over 200 protocols addressing every muscle in the body (except private ones). His groundbreaking approach calibrates the muscles, allowing the brain to naturally sort out the effects of trauma without medication, talk therapy, or invasive procedures. This innovative method provides permanent relief, enabling clients to reclaim their lives.

Dr. Rubenstein’s academic contributions and clinical expertise have earned him widespread recognition. His first article, "TMJ and the Kinesiological Connection to the Feet," became a surprising sensation in the medical community, claiming the #1 spot for its innovative insights. He has served as an Adjunct Professor at California Trinity University, teaching Clinical Aspects of Western Medicine, and directed the university’s PhD Pain Management Program, where he also designed its curriculum. His work as a Continuing Education Provider includes groundbreaking lecture series at prestigious institutions such as the White Memorial Medical Center and the University of California, Irvine.

Among his notable presentations are:

-
“Applications of Neuromuscular Calibration for the Craniofacial Complex,” a four-day lecture series in 2008.
-
“Pain Management of the Craniofacial Region: Influences of Remote Regions” in 2009.
-
“Brain Injury: A New Model Offers Hope for Recovery” in 2012.
-
“Intro to Diaphragmatic Breathing” in 2013.
Dr. Rubenstein’s achievements include designing the curriculum for The Rubenstein Method Certification Programs, which have been instrumental in training practitioners from 2006 to 2016. His pioneering work continues to transform lives, offering hope and healing to those who have long struggled with pain and trauma. Through his method, countless individuals have discovered a path to permanent relief and a brighter future.
